History

Chavand is named after Malik Ahmed, who founded the Nizamshahi of Ahmednagar in 1485, which got the forts in the Pune region. In the breaks of the Bahamani empire, he got the North Konkan and the Pune Province.

2) The second Burhan Nizam Shah (1590-1594), seventh grandson, was the grandson of Bahadur Shah in Chawandal in 1594.

3) In 1626 ShahajiRaje folded the Nizamshahi to protect Adilshah and Mughals. According to the Chavand mogals were given.

4) May 1672, poet Jairam Pinde says that in the context of the Paranal mountain, Chamundgad, Harishchandragad, Mahishgarh and Adargad fought for the fort of Maharaja Maharaj. Maharaj named him Prasnangad.

5) There are many names in this fort - Chhamand, Chuand, Chavand - are names of Chamunda. Chund - This is the name of Nizamshahi field. Shivaji Maharaj took the plunder of Prasnangad in his hands. He handed over the system of Jond fort to one of his chieftains and turned his front towards Lohagad.

Officers of the fort of Ahmadnagar's Nizam Shahi Malik Ahmed were not bowed down. He fought to defeat them. The forts are - Chavand, Lohgad, Tung, Koari, Tikona, Purandar, Bhorap, Jivdhan, Muranjan, Maholi and Pali. He used all his forts to take possession of it.In the fight against Gulsesh Ibrahimi Adilshah, he was killed by a bullet in the head of Abraham Nizam Shah. Nizamshahi lawyer Mia Manju laid the foundation of a son named Ahmed in Daulatabad jail. At the same time he sent Ibrahim's younger son, Bahadur Shah to Chavandala for captivity. Chandbibi is the Bahadur Shaha, and Miya Manjuna deposes the guardianship of Chandbish on Bahadur Shaha. It has been proved that Nizamshahi has been impounded on the throne.Nizamshahi Sardar Ikhlas Khan sent the governor of Chavand to the governor of Bahadur. The attendant informed that the instructions of Miya Manju would not be obeyed by this order. Ikhlas Khan made the rebel Bahadur Shah. Mia Manjuna called Prince Murad of Akbar for help. Murad came to Ahmednagar fort. Now Mia Manjula was repentant. He appointed Chandbibi as guardian for the protection of Ahmednagar and Chandrabi as state representative. Mia Manju came out of Ahmednagar to invite Adilshah and Qutubshah for help. Chandbibi took the advantage of this and killed Ansarkhan, his master. And the freedom of the Bahadur Shah from Chawand's arrest gave his assurance as Sultan.
