Hadsar Fort - This fort is 3200 feet high, in the Giridurg
fort. This fort of Naneghat mountain range in Pune district is considered to be
of medium to trekkers.
Sahyadri is the mine of the fort. Junnar talukas of Pune
district are similar to those of Gadkis. The 'Hudsar' is a beautiful fort in
this region. Beginning from Naneghat, we can do a six day wander for life,
Chavand, Shivneri, Lenidri, Hudsar and Harishchandragad.
History
The second name of the fort of Hudsar is in the formation
of fort in Mount Vatagad, Satavahanakal. This fort is built on the outskirts of
the city to protect the Naneghat. Historical documents mention that in 1637,
Shahaji kings included the Hadisar Fort in the flanked by the Mughals. After
this, in 1818, Birtish won Junnar and the surrounding forts. The British
attacked the fort of Hadapsar.
GETTING THERE

Mumbai Mainly
There are two main ways to go to this
fort. One of these is for the Rajdaravavaja and the second way is for the villagers
to carve the steps in the stone for their convenience. To reach the fort, there
is a need to go to the village of Hadad. From Junnar, reaching Nimgiri, Rajur
or Kewad, one can reach Hudsar village within a quarter of an hour. A well is
required to go up the hill from Hadsar village. After going a little over from
here, it should be run on the plateau on the left. After walking on the farm in
the foot, it takes a 15-minute distance between the two mountain ranges and the
fortification is within it.
After
walking in front of the pass, we reach the tower in half an hour. By
approaching the simple slaughter from here, we can reach the fort entrance. On
the way, two tank water can be seen on the hill. By the other way, do not turn
to this pass, go straight ahead and turn the mountain facing the left side and
reach the rear of the mountain. After climbing from here to hundred and a half
steps, we reach the main door of the pontoon. This is a very easy way for the
Rajdarwaja. It is very easy. It takes an hour to get to the fort from here.
ENTRY FEES
There
is no entry fee to visit the fort, only ID is needed.
Places to visit on the Hadasar Fort
- · Bogdevja Entrance, it is a model of architecture, the entrance with the dotted steps and the entrance with the gomaniac design is just a different aspect of astronomy.
- · From the main entrance of the fort, two parts are divided. One of them goes to the front drive. The second route goes to the other entrance, which is on the left.
- · When you come up from the second door, there is a water tank, Water is suitable for drinking.
- · The is a mansion
- · There are three spacious lorries carved in the last rug.
- · The Ganesh Chaturthi.
- · A big lake is taken from right to right here.
- · The Mahadev temple, there is a big Nandi in front of the temple and there are six corners in the temple.

o The statue of Lord Hanuman
- · There is a strong tower in front of the temple.
- · There is a lake in front of the temple.
- · The middle of the pond is a staggering stack of stone like an eagle.
- · When the bastion is down to the right of the tower's basement,
- · There is a spacious cave sculpted in the past.
- · The area of Manikdoh reservoir looks very beautiful on the hill opposite the temple.
- · In front of this, scenic areas like
o Chawand
o Naneghat
o Shivneri
o Bhairavgad
o Jivanagara can be seen.
OPENING/ CLOSING TIMINGS AND DAYS
The
fort is open 24 Hrs to general public for all days of the week. One has to show
their ID to enter the fort and for foreign nationals, passport is mandatory. It
comes under Maharashtra tourism and department also promotes the heritage site.
This fort is a must visit place if you are going on a Maharashtra tour.

Any time you can

Accomodation on Hadasar Fort
4 to 5 people can stay in Mahadev temple. However, it is a
little uncomfortable for the water to accumulate in the rainy season.
Food Facility on Hadasar Fort
If you do not have a meal at the fort, then you should do
it yourself.
Water Facility on Hadasar Fort
There is a perennial drinking water tank in front of the
entrance door.
